Arriving a mere week and a half late, Evelyn "Evie" Ray Blan made her entrance into the world on Monday at 7:20 am. She was 7 lbs 7 oz, and 20 inches long. Evie's name comes from two of her grandparents. Evelyn comes from her great grandma Blan, Stephen's grandmother. Ray comes from her grandfather, my late father, Raymond Iles.
Nate has been having a blast with his Aunt Liza. He seems to like his little sister so far, but she hasn't invaded his territory yet. We're hoping to go home early today and let life begin as a family of four.

Yeah! Yeah! So cute! That's a great family picture..it took weeks for us to get one! Good work! :) I'm glad for you that she wasn't huge even though she was so late. Everything go ok?

What a beautiful family photo. You guys are too good. Well done, Sarah. We're sure that Stephen helped as well, though his major contribution was about 9 1/2 months ago.

CONGRATS! Hope you all are doing well! Keep us posted on how the transition goes at home!
